Beyond the Numbers

Amendment - sadly Beyond The Numbers has now been taken over by new management and it pains us to say we cannot stand by our review as below. The service to us as clients has been horrendous from the new owner (the existing staff were superb) but we sadly cannot endorse this company as we did before. So much so that we've had to move to a new accountancy firm. We would say proceed with caution. May 2023 ---------------- When our accountant retired we moved to Beyond The Numbers and it has transformed our understanding (and love!) of finance. The team at Beyond The Numbers make accounting a pleasure and their professional, customer focused approach to client needs is exemplary. We thought all accountants were the same - Beyond The Numbers stand by their name and go beyond the company facts and figures with pertinent questions and challenging. Making the move was seamless and brilliant for our business. More than 5 stars from us.

I have found Val and her team to be a real source of knowledge and inspiration at a time when business owners needed guiding through a tough time (covid-19) Also as a leader, Val stepped up and offered the community yoga zoom sessions which says a lot about her character. Although I'm not a direct client of Beyond The Numbers I can definitely recommend Val and her team as a business based on leadership and character and how they showed up when needed. Val is unique amongst accountants and has built a great team around her. Going Beyond the Numbers comes naturally to Val and her support during Covid has been exemplary. Like many other sectors, photography has been especially hard hit with 90% of my client work cancelled in 2020. As a valued and trusted support partner, I could't ask for more.

To me Accountants are a bit like dentists - you dont want them but you need them. Not the case with the team at BeyondTheNumbers.
