Denise has been absolutely incredible. We had some huge issues with our landlord stating we were in arrears which due to the pandemic we could not trade for some 2 years so we accepted at face value the amount of arrears they (our landlords ) stated which was significant. However the legal advice I we were receiving at the time “ questioned “ the amount and suggested we obtain “a line by line verification ‘’ which I had never heard of. The old school wonderful `”Gumtree” provided this angel with numbers. After a short while with a huge amount of information spanning the first time some 5 years and the second time 15 years of historical bank statements in Excel back and forth and a court date hearing Denise came through ! The outcome of her meticulous work provided us with detailed verified account reducing the initial landlords rent arrears by £12750 nearly £13000 and the 2nd time was £18.500 !11 Thank you Denise The Moral of this story though is for all of you small businesses “ especially if you have been paying rent for 10 20years or in our case nearly 3 decades., given the current state of financial difficulties we are all experiencing in one way or another please please check your rental payments by getting a line by line verified account completed by your accountant or someone like Denise whom I could not recommend highly enough. There is so much more to this story that I just don’t have the time to write and I doubt would be read by busy people today. Even with all the huge financial discrepancies with verified accounts we lost the case. We were not even allowed to present the hard work Denise had completed for us to demonstrate how fiscally incompetent our landlords had been 😲😲There will be a documentary coming soon that all small business will benefit from especially those that survived/ post pandemic
