Unfortunately, my experience since then has been disappointing. HMRC later recalculated my income and advised that not all earnings had been included correctly, resulting in an unexpected tax liability rather than the refund I had been expecting. What has been most frustrating is the lack of communication. Since raising my concerns, I have struggled to get clear answers about what happened. Responses have been brief, and I have not received the level of explanation, support, or professionalism I would expect when dealing with an issue of this nature. While my initial impression was positive, the subsequent errors and poor communication have significantly affected my confidence in the service provided.
