I paid £1,850 upfront for professional accounting services, including completion of my Self Assessment tax return. Despite being aware of the HMRC deadline, the work was not completed to the standard I expected, communication became extremely poor, and I was left chasing for updates and answers. After paying a substantial fee, I expected a professional service, clear communication, and completion of the agreed work. Instead, I was left dealing with missed deadlines, stress, uncertainty regarding my tax affairs, and the need to take formal action in an attempt to recover my money. I sent formal complaints and subsequently a Letter Before Action, yet I have struggled to obtain a satisfactory response. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business. If you choose to use their services, I strongly suggest keeping detailed records of all communications, obtaining everything in writing, and monitoring progress closely. I am now pursuing recovery of my £1,850 through formal legal channels.
