I rang the main number as a potential new client and was asked where I was based. I didn't really understand the relevance, but told them Devon. The receptionist said they wouldn't have any interest as they only cover London and Kent. I said, the business I work for is national, then she changed her tone slightly, but was still rude and obnoxious. If I was a partner I would want to know about the clients being pushed away by poor reception staff, but Perrys clearly don't want to know with no partner contact details available on the website. Shockingly bad. Subsequent to this review the firm reached out to me and made an effort to understand the issue. I understand everyone has a bad day and perhaps I caught the receptionist at a bad moment. However, the call was certainly not good enough as a first touch point with a professional firm. UPDATE: The firm's review below is untrue. I spoke to them on the phone and they did track down the call. They even spoke to the receptionist involved who denied being rude or saying that they were only interested in clients in Kent/London. In short, she lied to her bosses to save face, which is what most people would do in her position so I don't blame her. However, what I don't understand is why they would write this inaccurate response to my review stating they couldn't find the phone call - it's dishonest as it is completely untrue.
